The deputy head of the Norwegian Olympic Committee left his post in protest over the exclusion of Russians and Belarusians from the Games.

The decision not to allow athletes from Russia and Belarus "is in stark contrast to my values ​​and ideas about what sport should be," wrote Eivind Vatterdahl.
