The self checkouts at Walmart (and probably other places that use them, too) are charging people extra and for things they didn't buy.
We knew the self checkouts were bad news from the start but now you can see why the shops really like to use them.
Don't get scammed.

There are also videos about customers complaining they were accused of stealing items after using these self checkout machines.
There are even lawsuits against Walmart and other stores that allegedly falsely accused check out customers for theft, when they claim to have paid for all items.
Many customers do steal items at the self checkouts, but what about those that don't? And do everything right yet the machine messes it up?
Just another reason to avoid stores that use self checkout machines.
