Why do Ashkenazim Cluster near Mediterraneans?
A common anti Mediterranean argument, is that some Mediterraneans cluster near Jewish populations, therefore insinuating at some point Jews replaced Southern Italians or that Southern Italians are Semitic. This of course couldn’t be any further from the truth.
A 2017 genetic study shows that Jewish genetic makeup is between 50% middle eastern, 40% Southern European with the rest mostly being Northern European.
A newer 2020 Study shows that modern Ashkenazim are over 50% Bronze Age Levantine and 41% European.
Earlier DNA studies found that most European DNA in the Ashkenazi gene pool dates back to their original expansion into Europe, and is predominantly derived from Italian women.
Jews overlap slightly with Southern Italians on a PCA due to their mixed ancestry, but that does not mean they’re literally Southern Italians. Genetic data like this conclusively debunks the myth that modern Mediterraneans are “Middle Eastern” in origin.

In 1800, people of European descent made up ~20% of the global population.
By 2000, this percentage had fallen by half due to massive population growth in the global south (funded entirely by "aid" from White taxpayers).
By 2150, the White population percentage will halve again, as Third World populations continue to grow at the expense of the White taxpayer.
Bear in mind that UN population predictions are regional, rather than racialized. Non-White immigrants are included in the populations of North America and Europe.
