The Abuse in Care Royal Commission of Inquiry is investigating the abuse and neglect that happened to children, young people and vulnerable adults in care from 1950 and 1999.

The inquiry is due to deliver its final report in June 2023.

Well, in answer to my question, I guess it takes four damn years to write a report that will “shock NZ to its core”. I know it has to be thorough. I get it. It’s just so unbelievable that exposure of crimes against children and humanity THAT ARE KNOWN ABOUT, take so long to expose. 🤦‍♀️
