Last year, out of hope that things would be better, my husband and I booked a cruise for this fall for our anniversary.
Until this week, royal Caribbean has failed to announce what it's requirements would be so we haven't paid anything additional. Our due date was coming up this month and they finally posted their requirements
Vaccinations required when porting out of Galveston. So I called.
Them: "How can I help you today?"
Me: "Yes I need help canceling my reservation and getting a refund for my deposit "
Them: "I see here that your deposit was non refundable. Why were you expecting a refund for your deposit?"
Me: "Well when I booked the cruise, there were no set requirements regarding experimental injections. Now you are requiring vaccinations in order to use your service. Which is against the Nuremberg code. And also wasn't part of the agreement made at the time of booking. So I expect a full refund of that deposit."
Them: "Alright let me look over my communications regarding this matter"
Series of holds later
Them: "Alright you will be receiving that refund in the next 30-45 days, your reservation will still show as "active" but there's nothing else you need to do, everything regarding the cancellation and refund have been coded and notated accordingly."
Me: "okay so if I don't have a refund in 30-45 days I should call back?"
Them: "That is correct and that shouldn't be necessary".

Hahahha My husband's friend who did get vaccinated had also booked the same cruise as us so when he broke the news, his friend (who has a trip planned in August to Vegas that we already declined), said that we can go to Vegas now! This was my husband's response 😂😂😂😂

Just think of it this way... If you think WE have had it rough the last 9 months KNOWING the election was stolen, KNOWING (on various levels) how corrupt our society and leaders and government are.... Just imagine.

Imagine with me SHUNNING anyone you know who tries to speak up against the societal narrative as a conspiracy theorist lunatic maybe even cult member/terrorist.
Imagine with me VOTING for a senile man THINKING he was your best bet to get rid of a racist ...
Only to find out that in FACT, YOU were the one that fell right into the big guy's trap.
Only to find out that YOU were supporting actual terrorist organizations.
Only to find out that YOU voted for an actual traitor who is also a pedophile.
Only to find out that YOU shut up the very people who were literally trying to save your soul.
Only to find out that GOD is Not on the side you've been fighting for.
Y'all.
Yes the last 9 months have SUCKED. But what we've been through will be NOTHING compared to what our friends and family are about to go through.
Remember what God seeks to draw out in us.
Compassion.
Grace.
Forgiveness.
Love.
Gratitude.
Common sense.
Discernment.
Hold on to these attributes in the coming months and make sure that no matter how ugly it gets, no matter how bad these people have been to you, that you honor God.
We will each have an opportunity to rise above what has been done to us and SHOW GOD'S GRACE in a MIGHTY and POWERFUL way that people will never forget!!
Recognize your responsibility as things turn around and use it wisely. Remember, God is watching. And so is the world.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
