Swiss COVID pass mandate to begin Monday - hospitality industry RAGING!

Switzerland will impose Covid passport requirements for entry to public places such as bars and restaurants from Monday - leaving businesses FUMING.

“This decision is disproportionate and leads to manifestly unequal treatment of the population,” said Casimir Platzer, chairman of the hospitality industry lobby GastroSuisse, demanding that the state compensate companies for lost income.

“The situation remains unstable with more than 3,500 cases today,” Health Minister Alain Berset said at a press conference in Bern. “The alternative is to shut everything down, and we’ll do everything we can to avoid that.”
