IPI Partners acquires parent company of Supernap Italia
PE firm acquires international partner of Switch
Affiliates of private equity firm IPI Partners (IPI) have acquired ACDC Holdings (ACDC), the majority shareholder of Supernap Italia. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Supernap International was formed in 2014 as a partnership between U.S.-based Switch and ACDC Funds to build data centers worldwide based on Switch's Tier IV facility designs in Las Vegas. Supernap Italia is an Italian colocation provider that owns a 42,000-square-foot data center in Siziano, near Milan. The parent company, ACDC, was owned by Accelero Capital Holdings.
