WEAK MEN PREFER ATHEISM

A study was carried out on the link between faith and sex, more precisely testosterone, as men of strong and powerful physique were thought to ignore faith, mainly because of the ethos of religions.

Surprisingly it was found that high exposure to androgens such as testosterone, responsible for musculature, complexion, strength and athletic ability, promote religiosity and religious feeling in men.

So the more testosterone and the more masculine a man is, the more likely that man is to have a steadfast and well-sought faith. Militant atheism is, then, a common behavior in men with low testosterone, precisely those more effeminate that we hope not to find progressivism, specifically among collectivist and identity movements.

The anti-faith is thus a concern of weak and incapable men.

"Stark’s (2002) proposal that high testosterone increases risk taking, and there by diminished religiosity, appears to be in need of substantial modification. Our study suggests that there are relationships between testosterone, risk taking, and religiosity, but that the nature and direction of these relationships appear to be much more complex than he proposed. We did find evidence to support Stark’s hypothesis that testosterone was positively correlated with risk taking. However, we also found evidence (quite unexpectedly) that testosterone was positively associated with being religious.." (Ellis, Hoskin and Ratnasingam, 2016)
