Darko Desic, now 64, lost his job as a cash-in-hand laborer and handyman after his work dried up due to Sydney’s coronavirus restrictions.
The Aussie criminal was originally sentenced to three-and-a-half years for growing cannabis, though he managed to escape after just 13 months. However, after spending the night homeless on a Sydney beach, Desic reportedly said, ‘Stuff it, I’ll go back to prison where there’s a roof over my head.’
