AG Brnovich asks Maricopa County to preserve all documents and data related to the 2020 election

This week, my office sent a letter to the Arizona Senate requesting supporting documents from the report released last week.

My office also asked Maricopa County to preserve all documents and data related to the 2020 election.

The Arizona Senate’s report that was released on Friday raises some serious questions regarding the 2020 election.

Arizonans can be assured our office will conduct a thorough review of the information we receive.

AG Brnovich Notifies Maricopa County That a Litigation Hold Is in Effect for All Documents and Data Related to the 2020 Election

AG Brnovich delivered letters to the Senate and Maricopa County today. He asks the Senate for unredacted copies of all reports and appendices and all supporting evidence related to the audit findings.

In a separate letter to the Maricopa Supervisors and County Recorder Stephen Richer, he informs them that a “litigation hold” is in effect for all 2020 election materials including but not limited to, all documents, communications, electronic data (including router information and Splunk logs, election equipment, physical election materials (including ballots, envelopes, logs, etc), security surveillance footage, and building access records.
