❗️Evergrande Trading Suspended Ahead of Major Announcement
Hong Kong has halted the Chinese giant's trading on the stock exchange, with speculation building a potential sale is on the horizon.
It's the first time Evergrande's shares have been suspended, with no concrete explanation. The real estate group is the world's most indebted. A financial service in China, Cailian, has hinted another developer may be about to step in.
Evergrande was on course to default after failing to pay over $80MN last month in bond-interest payments. In total it owes around $305 BILLION over the next two years.

"The bankruptcy of British-Australian finance company Greensill Capital continues to make waves in Switzerland. The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs said Sunday that a criminal complaint had been filed in the matter for violation of competition laws. For further information, the agency referred to the Zurich Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. No comment could initially be obtained from Greensill's administrators.
The Neue Zürcher Zeitung on Sunday reported that offices of the major Credit Suisse bank were searched last week in connection with the Greensill bankruptcy and documents were seized. Citing the public prosecutor's office, it said that active and former employees of the major Swiss bank were not under investigation."
