Facebook lost over $60 MILLION in revenue during the time it was offline, CEO - almost $7 BILLION off net worth!
At 4:00 pm ET, Fortune estimated the company had lost roughly $60 million in revenue since the outage started or approximately $216,000 per minute at the peek of the blackout.
That figure is based on Facebook’s second-quarter earnings, which saw revenue of $29.08 billion over a 91-day period.
The company’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg, however, lost a whopping almost $7 billion in a few hours, knocking him to number five on the list of the world’s richest people, according to Bloomberg.
