MAXWELL CASE UPDATE
There's been additional back and forth on the docket today. This is going to be a very interesting trial to say the least. Tensions and chess moves already in play.
To summarize: Maxwell's team had complained about not receiving documents by the 10/11 deadline.
DOJ responds today detailing the legal process they were obligated to comply and the way in which they did. That the MDC (place where Maxwell is being held) was in possession of the documents within the appropriate timeframe and that Maxwell does not deserve any special treatment that would not be afforded any other inmate.
Additionally, Maxwell's attorney's had been wanting to get these documents before filing a motion which would allow them to submit evidence detailing a victims unrelated sexual exploits.
DOJ responded explaining again how Maxwell does not deserve any special attention or extension. Advises to maintain 10/18 deadline for motion.
