Hackers Breach NINE Key Organizations - Including US Defense

Cybercriminals have targeted organizations in defense, energy, health care, tech & education. (Palo Alto Networks security firm told CNN)

The hackers are reportedly making an ongoing effort to thieve data from US defense contractors, according to research.

It's claimed the espionage groups steal passwords to maintain long-term access to servers, with a senior researcher describing what they have found the "tip of the spear."

Palo Alto Networks claims the tools used overlap with a Chinese hacking group, but the source is still unknown.
