🔹Jeff Carpoff, owner of DC Solar, was sentenced to 30 years in prison in a billion-dollar Ponzi scheme. He pled guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud & money laundering charges. His wife, Paulette pled guilty & awaits sentencing.
🔹The investigation resulted $120M in assets forfeited that will be used for restitution to victims. The forfeiture included seizing & auctioning 148 of the Carpoffs’ luxury & collector vehicles, incl. the 1978 Firebird once owned by Burt Reynolds.
