"What was happening inside those massage rooms was not a massage; it was sexual abuse."
The prosecutor acknowledges the case may make jurors uncomfortable, before saying:

"He sometimes received oral sex, and he sometimes penetrated the girls' vaginas with his penis."

I've been comparing the MSM coverage on the Bloomberg link posted above, as well as this Twitter feed. The Bloomberg feed conveniently omitted the graphic details mentioned here 🤔. These two feeds were pretty much in complete sync up until penetration was mentioned... These differences matter.

Prosecution opening statement was seemingly succinct and to the point.
Following true to their strategy during pre-trial disclosures, they plan to let the evidence as it is delivered during trial, speak for itself. They've promised videos, images, financial records, witnesses, victims, employees, experts and co-conspirators. They produced 2.7 million pages of documents to the court which provide an overview of the evidence they plan to showcase during this trial.
Defense anticipates it's opening statement to last approximately an hour.

There have now been 3 sidebars over the prosecution's objections to the defense's opening statement.
This is already proving to be a fiery, intense trial. I'm sure this is just the start.
Currently the defense is still hashing out their opening statement. They pivoted from painting Maxwell as a woman who has been targeted for her gender, wealth, and association to Epstein to now breaking down each victim that will be testifying and why they believe the jury should find them unreliable.
