A few days ago a member of my chat group asked for prayers as her mom was rushed to hospital. She’s still there.

Now she has asked a question but I have no clue of the answer. If anyone works in medical industry and could provide feedback or any direction to research, it would be greatly appreciated.

Is it normal for a hospital to transfuse a pint of blood into a diabetic who had low blood sugar? My mom is being kept another day and they gave her a transfusion. I just can't figure out why they would transfuse her.
