US forced to halt West Coast flights during North Korean ballistic missile tests
The Federal Aviation Authority paused a number of flights Tuesday along the West Coast after Pyongyang test-launched a ballistic missile. (AFP)
"As a matter of precaution, the FAA temporarily paused departures at some airports along the West Coast on Monday evening," the agency said in a statement.
Flights resumed just 15 minutes after they were paused with the the FAA stating it will be “assessing their approach moving forward," should further tests occur.
