ADL CEO Rejects Whoopi Goldberg's Holocaust Claims – Did he Undermine Organization’s Updated Definition of Racism? (reports)

The Anti-Defamation League’s CEO Jonathan Greenblatt has caused confusion by slamming Whoopi Goldberg’s claims that the Holocaust “was not about race” - and seemingly contradicted his own organization’s definition of racism. (Daily Caller)

The ADL now define racism as the oppression of “people of color based on a socially constructed racial hierarchy that privileges white people” - which Goldberg had argued precludes racism from the Holocaust as Jews and Nazis were both white.

Goldberg has since been suspended for two weeks by ABC News after she aired her opinion on the network’s 'The View' talk show.
