Is being a “good person” the point of being here in this life?
No. It is not.
Our purpose is to Love. And if, in doing so, we are deemed “good” by the measuring sticks of society, fine.
But that is NOT the point.
Sadly, this pursuit of “goodness” is the measuring stick by which we beat each other and ourselves up.
It is, after all, a judgement.
You want to be a “good person”?
Great, I guess.
But that’s at the root of a lot of evil because it’s subject to the changeable idea of what “good” is. Do you see the trap? Just look at Convid. How many people have done awful things and treated others badly simply because they are trying to be “good” instead of following their own Divine, inner guidance? The road to hell IS often paved with good intentions.
See, the point of all of this isn’t to be “good” or to get some kind of gold star for how you live your life. If you want that, go to the church and ask them what you’re supposed to do to be “good” and get into heaven. They’ll certainly tell you.
But if you want a full life, one that fulfills and sustains you AND those around you, you must understand your true purpose, given to you by God. And that is to cultivate and spread Love here on Earth, through acceptance.
Through forgiveness.
Through understanding what we ARE.
When we understand that we truly are already exactly what we need to be and exactly what God made us to be, we can actually fulfill our purpose. When we see that striving for “goodness” (read: striving to be something that we don’t believe we already are) is yet another illusion, we can set it aside.
Stop trying so hard to be something other than what you already are.
You lack nothing.
You have everything you need.

Another school taught that you need to learn to practice enlightenment, or the steps towards enlightenment, from within the world. To learn to do that in addition to having a family, a job, and all the other trappings of a life on earth.
It has been argued that the latter is much more challenging in many ways.
I can’t remember all the details about which was which or when that happened, but I find it very interesting.

I told you Musk was the perfect sleeper. I know many don’t trust him and I’m not even telling you that you should. I’m just saying that he is a bridge between the two sides and he has shitloads of influence.

Musk hides under the radar for YEARS. Sure, everyone knows who he IS, but they don’t know what he’s about or which side he’s really on.
