I think we've confused pride as ego for a long time. Ego is not pride.

Pride comes from our ego. Similar to how an infection grows inside of a wound, pride grows inside of your ego.

Your hurt self.

Your wounded self.

The part of you that has been deeply affected by the journey you've been on.

It's not really about stopping your pride.

It's about examining where that pride comes from. If you've been getting "triggered" a lot over the last 2 months, GOOD. Those triggers are screaming at you to take a deeper look.

You have a lot of healing to do.

We all do.

Healing on the inside is how we change what we see and how we feel about what we see on the outside.

Feel all of it. Scream. Hyperventilate. Let it out.

Then learn from it. Integrate what you are learning into the fibers of your essence. As you heal, you'll look around in amazement at what heals along with you because the universe will feel the vibrations of your foundation changing and there will be a current surrounding you that draws others in to examine the change.

Love this!!! Greatest moment of realization for me was the battle inside myself between ego and soul should have never been a battle to begin with. It was not about suppressing our ego, or defeating, it was about developing trust where there were wounds. Ego protected in times of need to keep us alive, or sane in a moment of unsure. And pushed itself away, taught that it's process after was undeserving. They work in tandem with each other ego and soul. The creator is not waste and each part important. Self listening became easy meditation once I observed rather than re-lived there was relief/re-life.

Say "Self, I'm listening." And listen like you would a dear friend that needed a space to vent. We don't absorb a friend's emotional state, we practice empathy. Doing that with ourself leads to peace and a
"Being" that is heard or being heard. It is a peaceful type of being

INFINITELY more important.

When someone says you need a pure heart”, does that make you nervous? Do you think, “Hmmmm, I might not pass that little test”?

Don’t do that to yourself. You are a Son of God. You ARE pure of heart. Even if you’ve done “bad” things. Even if you are kind of an asshole sometimes. Even if you swear like a sailor and don’t fit the standard model of “good and holy”.
Screw all that. Those are judgements.
