Attorneys for the Pfizer whistleblower claim the company could be liable for $3.3 trillion in damages.
"The lawsuit alleges that Pfizer and two of its subcontractors violated the False Claims Act by providing false clinical trial results to gain FDA approval for the Covid-19 vaccine.
Under federal law, individuals can sue on behalf of the government and receive triple damages if they can prove that the person or company knowingly lied to the government.
One of the plaintiff's attorneys said the payout could be as much as $3.3 trillion.
"That would be enough to bankrupt Pfizer," the lawyer added.

I will stand by what I’ve said before. No one drops off a laptop, much less MORE THAN ONE, and “forgets” to pick it up. I don’t care how coked up you are, you don’t leave hard evidence of you committing crimes at a computer repair shop. If you were sober enough to drop it off, you were sober enough to know EXACTLY what you were doing.
But, if you had a huge grudge against your father…. and perhaps some bones to pick with others in your family, you might do just that. Especially when what’s on that computer could sink them completely. Ya know, if you were mad enough, traumatized enough, or just plain fed up….you might rat them out. In fact, you might do it willingly if someone asked you nicely.
Come on, do we not see the comedic relief in the Scottish repair shop guy who wears his hat in all media appearances? (I’m not knocking the guy, I think he’s fabulous.) But come on, man?! Are we really supposed to buy this story? It’s too fooking funny. Always was.
