I have family and friends who were in this. It’s why I’ve been MIA since Wednesday night. It’s horrible the damage. Fort Myers Beach, pretty much leveled. Sanibel/Captiva island’s no way on or off the island as the causeway was destroyed in 4 different spots. Same for Pine Island. I lived and worked this area for the better part of 12 years.

In the modern church you will not face persecution by simply worshipping God through the bible.
The world wants you to worship God in that way.
When you worship God by reading information, that information can and will be controlled in order to control you.
That's why you don't experience any of the persecution that's actually depicted in the book itself.
So what causes you to face persecution?
Persecution comes from those who feel threatened by your beliefs.
Persecution comes from those who feel uncomfortable by the testimony you have to offer.
Persecution comes when you worship God in the SPIRIT as God wants you to.
When you witness experiences that can only be experienced in spiritual realms, people who have never experienced those things form judgements of you.
Those who do not pray with expectation nor get silent to hear the Word of God in the Spirit will always feel threatened by those who do.
They're doing all the "right" things. They're checking all the boxes. Surely if there was an encounter to be had with God, they'd have had it too, right?
They have yet to realize that you can't read about spiritual experiences and "get them".
No written doctrine can give you experience. Only an account of it. One perspective.
That's like saying you read about someone else's experience with drugs so now you understand addiction.
No. That's just not how it works.
You have to actually experience something in order to have an experience.
Get it?
Experience = true knowledge.
There is no book on this Earth that can give you true knowledge.
Take cooking for example. Millions of books are filled with millions of recipes.
No amount of reading those recipes will make you an amazing chef.
You have to put in the work. You have to knead the dough. You have to measure things out and make mistakes and burn the bread. You have to add too much sugar and too much salt to find the proper balance.
Am I making sense?
I am by absolutely no means bashing the bible here. If that's what you've taken from me that's not what I am saying.
What I'm saying is that you are called to More.
The time has come for us to EXPERIENCE God.
The time has come to stop pretending we are expert bakers just because we memorized 1,000 recipes.
The time has come to bake and see what comes out.
So you get it wrong a time or two?
Who cares!
This isn't a competition.
It's not a race.
There is no boat to miss. YOU are the boat and you are here to EXPERIENCE God's spirit in the way that only YOU can.
You can use recipes. You can look at books. You can "cheat". Again, it's not a test.
But if you don't ever turn on that oven, nothing's going to bake. You'll be looking at ingredients sitting there, and sitting there, and sitting there.
The magic happens when you turn on the heat.
Do not conform to this world.
Be transformed by it.
Turn on the heat and get to work.

This👆jumped out at me today. Spirit is our direct communication line to God. Everyone has access to this and it has been stifled six ways from Sunday for ages.
How often are you told to be logical and not trust just your feelings on something? How has your life been structured to only value things that can be scientifically proven? How have you been conditioned to “be rational”?
All of those programs have distanced you from the Father, from Source, because they teach you to disregard the parts of yourself that access that direct comm line: intuition, gut feeling, subconscious mind, unexplainable physical sensations, transcendent knowledge, etc. Then throw in the attacks that have been waged on your physiology for your entire life and you have a real recipe for disaster. Obviously.
Just look around.
The damage done by this programming is immeasurable. But here’s the cool part. All you have to do to get it back is DECIDE you want it. All you have to do is DECIDE to seek God and the pieces of the puzzle will start coming to you.
It doesn’t matter what you’ve done in the past. It doesn’t matter if you’re a mess. It also doesn’t matter if you’ve done everything “right” according to the dogma you’ve been taught. That doesn’t get you anywhere unless you decide within yourself to seek TRUTH.
I thought, for much of my life, that I wasn’t feeling close to God because I wasn’t “doing it right”. I thought that the people I saw at church or the ones who seemed to say all the right things knew more than I did about how to do this God thing. I thought I was less than them when it came to this stuff.
See, that’s part of the game, too.
No one else has any role to play in YOUR experience with God. And, in my opinion, many of the folks who shout the loudest about how you should behave and what you should do to follow the Lord, have never had a truly spiritual experience in their life. And they will do everything they can to actually keep that from happening because it doesn’t fit within their own framework of what THEY were taught and conditioned to believe.
The only way out of the prison cell is to personally wake up. When you do that, you find out you’ve been your own jailor all along and all you have to do is DECIDE to walk out of the cell. It really is that simple.
I didn’t say it was easy. 😉
I just said it was simple.
