THE SPIRITUAL LIFE, on the contrary, proceeds directly by a change of consciousness, a change from the ordinary consciousness, ignorant and separated from its true self and from God, to a greater consciousness in which one finds one's true being and comes first into direct and living contact and then into union with the Divine.

For the spiritual seeker this change of consciousness is the one thing he seeks,

The Divine appears to different people in different forms. An infinite number of ways exist for God to communicate with us.
All are valid.
And sacred.

As soon as people try to experience God through someone else’s explanation of what that encounter looks and feels like, they are already barking up the wrong tree.

Trust your own experience.
Trust that you are worthy to have it— because you are!
YOU block it when you doubt that you are special enough to access it. And only YOU can stop doing that. Do you see?

Just know that you have a DIRECT link to God that cannot be broken. It is part of what you are.

Trust that.

Trust your own Inner Knowing.
When the voice comes, just listen. Don’t wonder whether or not anyone else will believe you or understand.
It doesn’t matter.
Only your own experience matters.
