Just had an hour-long conversation with my mom about what's happening in the world. She asked me and I went off like a fire hydrant on the world which is passing away. The pedophilia, the cannibalism, everything. At the end she sounded totally drained and she said she was disturbed. I asked her if she was disturbed because I believe these things or because it could be true.

She said "The second option"...

I reassured her that her feeling disturbed was a sign of her being sane and having empathy and compassion.

It's happening.

My grandma brought up Sound of Freedom and mentioned wanting to see it but not knowing what it was about. So I told her. She said she couldn't watch that. But she did ask more questions and we got into fake news, fake wars, CIA using coersion and then blackmail to get people to commit crimes with kids and then use it against them for the rest of their political lives etc. She had the same tone I imagine your mom having when she said "the second option". Told her the only reason we know about any of this is because trump became president and has been fighting back

Sound of Freedom has swung the door open for sure. I find that it's getting easier and easier to bring up THE topic in conversation.

In chemistry there is a term called "activation energy". When two molecules collude, in order for a reaction to occur, an energy threshold must be overcome. Once the threshold is overcome the reaction proceeds and can eventually reach a new equilibrium, with new molecules. The higher the threshold, the more energy is needed to overcome it.

I find that the energy threshold to have these conversations is gradually getting lowered. New neural pathways are being made in people's minds and hearts and it's getting easier and easier to walk them.

It's a social reaction spreading through the collective mind like a wave. Quite amazing.
