So, in that light (pun intended) does that not place a different spin on the sacrament of Holy Communion?
Take, eat, this is my body?
What if it’s not a reference to a blood ritual at all? Crucifixion or otherwise? What if it is and always was a message to eat the Sun? To take the energy of it into yourself and to “Remember Me” as you do so?
