When my father was dying I spent a lot of time researching death and what happens afterwards. It brought me a lot of peace and now I see that it helped lead into my Awakening later on.

Your gurus, your preachers, your pastors and leaders are falling short.
At some point, they must.
We need to see the people we've idolized, we've looked up to, we've given authority over our spiritual journey to fall on their face at some point.
Because in them falling "short" by sharing things that simply do not resonate with us or by seeing them do things which we do not personally agree with.... We come to a place where we begin to recognize how varied everyone's experiences are and start learning how to let the differences be what they are.
Because it is in observation of the varied beliefs and varied practices and varied "flaws" in those leaders that brings out the one thing that truly matters.
Your own inner guidance.
We have to see so many teachers, gurus, leaders etc that we once idolized fall short in order to reclaim the pieces of our own sovereignty, our own divinity, our own authority that we've been giving away our entire lives.
One of my favorite mantras the last few years has been "take what resonates and leave the rest for another day".
Because sometimes things do come up from within me that make me see everything totally new and makes so much sense of all the pieces of everyone else's puzzles that I've over heard or observed.
And sometimes I get perfect clarity as to why something never did resonate to begin with.
To take on someone's truth as if it is your own, that is the basis for spiritual bypassing and it just never sticks because what you don't truly know falls down at some point. Like a house of cards.
I don't know about yall.... but I want a foundation built of my own unfiltered and unadulterated truths because when I get criticism or judgment or gaslit or someone tries to coerce or manipulate me into seeing things through their lens, I don't even want to tremble. Firmly placed roots is what I seek.
I take everything else that I don't know as "interesting" and keep my heart squarely centered on truth and unconditional love. On authenticity and sovereignty.
That is the firm foundation that I can weather any storm through. Because I trust myself. I trust myself to sort through information and file it accordingly. I trust myself to overcome, to endure and to not just survive, but to thrive.
And so it is 🙏

“You came to the physical world with a plan for your life that you knew you could fulfill if you listened to your inner self and followed your instincts.
You knew that if you blocked your inner self, you would not be fulfilled.
You knew it wasn't so much important that you found out who you were again, although that is the ultimate goal, but what was important was learning to listen to yourself above all others and learning that because you exist, you are perfect.
When you love yourself, exactly as you are, you become a beacon of love.”

LIMITLESS
All the doors are opening.
All the world’s a stage.
The world tries to control you, but you’ve already turned the page.
Make a new beginning.
Change what you think you see.
Know that you are limitless.
Step out of your cage and be free.

Happy Samhain!
I actually have no problem with Halloween. I just prefer to call it what it is in my own understanding. Halloween came from Samhain. 😉
Yes, I think there are links to the darkness and I know that people with ill intent use this special day on the calendar to do what they do.
Really though, it’s the ancient celebration day that falls between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice. Fire was used as a way to imitate the Sun and ward off the growing darkness of the season so bonfires are a big part of the celebration.
Samhain is a threshold or liminal festival, when the boundary (or veil) between the worlds is thinner so the connection to spirits becomes pretty clear. It also marks the end of the harvest and the “death” of the crops and the landscape. So, is it associated with death? Sure, but I do not view that as a bad thing. Everything dies. It’s a part of the cycle of life and of the seasons which is where most of our holidays originally came from.
Samhain begins on 31 Oct and runs through 1 November. I think in ancient times, it went on for three days and nights. To me, that’s a pretty obvious connection to Halloween/All Hallows Eve, All Saints Day and and Dia de Los Muertos.
I will add some reposts of things I’ve written in prior years about this. But for my part, I love this time of year and I’m going to celebrate it with my family. 💕

Let’s talk about Halloween. Many have adopted the idea that it’s bad or evil. It’s not. What it is is yet another hijacked tradition that has been perverted and inverted. It’s time to claim it back.
It is actually Samhain (Sow - inn), a Celtic / Druid fire festival signifying and celebrating Death and Rebirth. Death is a requirement for rebirth. It is not the end, but rather the start of a new beginning. This understanding is a fundamental principle missing from today’s consciousness. Killed off by the church, quite literally, it holds the key to being at peace with the natural cycles of life.
Samhain takes place at the
midpoint between Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice.
It marked the end of the harvest and the descent into the darkest part of the year / shortest days with the least sunlight. It’s designation as “dark” is literal. (Everything revolved around the Sun and the Zodiac. Everything ACTUALLY still does, we just don’t understand it anymore because it’s been hidden from us.)
The Veil between realms is very thin during this time.
Celts dressed as animals and monsters to prevent being kidnapped by fairies and taken to other worlds.
I’m sure these traditions go back even further than the Celts and their priests and priestesses, the Druids.Or do the Druids themselves go back MUCH further than you‘ve been allowed to know?

For the folks who are convinced that Halloween is “different from Samhain”:
Samhain existed long before the Church’s confiscation of the celebration as All Saints Day, which became All Hallows Eve, which became Halloween. And now we have this dark holiday that has lost its roots and been hijacked by the Cabal.
So, no, they are not the same thing now but only because Halloween is a result of Samhain (or whatever one wishes to call that period of time) as an important date on the ancient calendar. The church twisted it purposefully to confound it’s original significance and use it for its own gain… Just like they did to pretty much every ancient tradition we had.
So, the question is, how far back do you go when you dig into this? And I think the answer is “much farther than we tend to think”!

Samhain used to be the start of the new year for the ancient Celtic people. It’s dark in theme because it’s the beginning of the “dark half” of the year. Spring and summer were the light half, and autumn and winter were the dark half.
The Celts’ spirituality revolved around nature and their local deities. It wasn’t satanic, because they weren’t Christian and didn’t have a concept of the Devil.
But the Church hijacked all the pagan holidays and tried to Christianize the Goddess as Mary. So a lot of Catholic feast days are on the same days as the pagan sabbats/holidays. Like Feb. 1 became Candlemas, instead of Imbolc.
