this has taken a long time to learn and to understand, the same applies to other forms of healing as well, if you hurt, you need to process the hurt, if you're grieving, you need to allow yourself to work through your own grieving process on your own time scale.

Emotions are another way, beyond our primary senses, that we process our experience here in this incarnation. Forcing forgiveness, happiness, love(!) - any of those things are dishonesty with yourself, it is burying your wounds beneath the surface to run, unprocessed as a silent program in the background... and those unresolved, unprocessed energies will steer all of your future choices and experiences.

Much of the work that I, personally have been doing, over the course of the past several years, has been working through all of this within myself... because I wish to both honour the path of the past that has led me to here, and to open to the bright future ahead, without dragging all of that with me.

If you wake in the dead of night, and something that you thought was well behind you comes up, something that you thought that you had left behind - pay attention. Or they may just push into your awareness through your day... it is our tendency to either push them back away, or to even get angry about it. This is your subconscious bringing these things to your attention.

Much of the work of these days begins with this sort of purification process. This is stripping you back to being (closer to) the soul that incarnated here, who you really are. It begins here. Feel it.

They never go away, they just get buried and then begin operating us like puppets from the unconscious. We behave badly and develop illnesses because of the emotions we’ve swallowed and denied.
