Y’all can do as you see fit, of course, but from what I’ve seen, the arguments given by the “experts” on why you should never, ever look at a solar eclipse directly are the same ones they give for not looking into the Sun at all.

The story of St Pat is one such example. And now millions of people celebrate the killing of the Druids by getting completely shitfaced and drinking green beer. 🤦♀️

A wonderful book to read if the above piques your interest is The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley.
It’s a novel - but it was extremely well researched and written by a woman with a deep understanding of spirituality and what happened as The Church came in to defeat “the pagans”.
We’ve been discussing it in the chat on and off and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
