It’s not brilliant—-it’s fall of false claims probably read on a anticatholic website

Steve—-the Catholic Church does not hold the positions you propose. (Ie LGBTQ) Few anons who blast the Catholic fail to recognize that the Church was/ is the only major institution to condemn both surgical abortion and chemical abortion (majority of birth control) from their beginnings. Indeed sadly too many anons participated in this travesty while still
Blind to this evil. Furthermore—-the Church has condemned freemasonry since at least the 1700s—its condemnation and warning of its evil is the most written about topic by popes. This cannot be ignored. And how can the Church being so bad be reconciled with the fact that Melania Trump is. Catholic. Clearly she is in the know….

I am not attacking Catholics. I am explaining my own personal understanding based on my own experiences.
You may not be as aware of these things as you think you are... Vatican Bank owns Mastercard - it's massive. It was accused of being the bank of choice of The Mafia as well, forever embroiled in controversy... but of course I don't know the truth of that... the generations and generations of broken children left in the wake of the Catholic Church is hardly a secret - I've been surrounded by them most of my life here in Britain, especially among Irish friends. One friend confronted a priest who was sexually abusing his younger brother, and they were both hauled before the bishop and threatened with eternal damnation if they ever spoke of it.
Whatever the Church's official position regarding these openly Marxist organisations, doesn't change the fact that all of the churches locally are draped in Pride flags, as they flew BLM banners when all of that controversy was flaring up.
It is experiential and gathered up over the course of a lifetime... I have not been 'radicalised' by any website...
Let's try not to get defensive or make assumptions or accusations about each other just because we come from different points of view, that is evasive and avoidant of the topic under conversation. Please try to keep it civil 🙏

Thank you for taking the time to write this out so thoughtfully, Steve. Beautiful response. I just had a long conversation w/ two of my now adult children last night about this very topic (the church system vs real faith, tradition vs truth — and how often love, respect, kindness & humility is a missing ingredient)
My son who is 25 is probably a bit surprised at how much his mother has moved in a different direction — but he is very open to conversation & looking at all kinds of things from a different angle. He is in school in a religious system, so is surrounded by the close mindedness of dogma and tradition, but there is also a beautiful open mindedness and respect in their community, undoubtedly fueled by true love & friendship that supersedes all of the dogmatic “stuff.”
I agree w/ you completely in that the church teaches a “perversion of what the Christ is all about,” and I am personally coming to the place of realizing the the great deception probably IS the church. It is a false light. Ironically, the one place where I — we — thought ourselves “safe” from being deceived. I have also come to learn that Christians, or church people, don’t actually want to know the truth. They will tell you they do, but they don’t really. They want to cling to their version of “truth,” their traditions and dogma, which — at the end of the day — is usually a belief system built on what they’ve been told. Often / usually there is very little investment in terms of personal study, independent pursuits, individual thinking .. But these people are also the first to want to make you their mission project & reprimand you for being “wrong” because you DO study and do your due diligence, which will invariably lead to seeing all kinds of things different than when you were spoonfed other people’s understanding of “truth.”
I could go on .. but just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your response. Something in here about examining the tree and its fruit that seems very pertinent, too — but for some reason most in the religious systems don’t care much about doing just that. 🤷♀️
Ofcourse, the moment you talk about a “universal religion” of LOVE .. you will have lost the religionist at the outset — as that is considered the great deception of the end times. Go figure. Oneness & Love is somehow a bad thing.
But that’s how deep the brainwashing goes.

The reason I posted all of that 👆(and there’s more in the chat if you’re interested) is because I think it helps to be able to look objectively at the fear and judgement that causes such problems in our society.
It’s easy to see into the dynamic when you can read the energies of the people involved in the conversation.

Saying you believe something because you were told to do so, or coerced into it out of fear, is one of the main ways to disconnect from your True Self.
You don’t ACTUALLY believe it. You just tell yourself you do.
And then you’ve primed your own pump for sucking up even more sludge that will infect your Mind.
As long as you never have a true spiritual experience of deep, inner knowing, you’ll never even figure out what you’ve done.
So, what does religion do?
Encourage you to have your own deep, mystical experiences? Or tell you to believe in someone else’s?
And then set you up with a belief system than ensures you stay in a state of guilt and fear isolating you from directly experiencing the Divine?
Understand what has happened to mankind and we actually have a shot at fixing it.
