Sometimes our true selves are in pain. Pain isn't fun but it's real. It's an authentic part of the human experience. We all go through moments and seasons of pain ....where some days are harder than others. More effort is required. We can either hide that pain to "be strong" for those around us (which often leads to anger) or we can soften up, let the pain be seen and allow those who do care- know we are in need of someone to help, to love and to guide us through that fog.
