Still in PICU. I’m actually grateful. They haven’t dumped all kinds of medication or drama and seem to be listening. We were barely getting by for a year and it truly had to change. I’m grateful we developed a plan and made it happen. She’s smiling even with her eyes and that was a rarity. I don’t want us leaving until I feel good about her well being. When your child gets flown by helicopter to the hospital it’s pretty 😳

There are ALWAYS more layers.
People get caught in eddies along this journey and they don’t even realize it.
They think they’ve found “The Truth!” and they allow themselves to be pulled into whatever vortex of thought has enticed them out of the main flow of the River.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes we need to focus in on something that Resonates for us in order to fully understand it. But if you lose the strength or the Will to paddle out of that eddy and get back into the flow of All, you’re kinda screwed.
The River will lead you Home. The eddy will keep you stuck near the bank. Endlessly circling the same spot and the same ideas. They become a boundary that people don’t want to cross back out of. It feels safe, but is a trap.
That’s what organized religion is. That’s what aligning yourself with any particular school of thought is. That’s what focusing on one subject matter at the expense of all others is. That’s what thinking you know better than everyone else is.
They’re ALL eddies.
Vortexes that can ensnare your Mind.
Know this, so that you retain your Sovereignty and your ability to pull away from them when it’s time.
The Beginner’s Mind is the first step in all of this. The thing is though, as you learn and grow…you must find a way to keep it.
