Just because someone wants to be in your life.... Doesn't mean you have to let them.

Yes people can change and grow...but you don't have to let them practice on you when they've already shown you how little you matter in their eyes.

When they use you to get what they want done, or to get something with little regard to how it would affect you...

You don't need to let them keep doing it just to see if they'll stop.

And just because you have a huge heart and you can see the beauty within them.... Doesn't mean you have to take on all of their darkness.

And that's not how a person changes.

A person changes and grows when they decide to. And that's a decision you can't make for them just because you want to see which colors come out when their flowers blossom.

Sometimes you have to let the darkness work it's magic on a seed while you continue to create your own masterpiece. While you rise day after day.

Sometimes seeing other flowers rising and blooming is all the inspiration a seed needs to make that choice too.

The more you keep working on growing yourself, eventually, you'll turn around and see a field of wildflowers. Because as you grow and evolve, you sprinkle seeds everywhere you turn.

And you never know when one will take root.

Go grow yourself and you'll find the garden that roots for you.
