For everyone today - If your nervous system is in distress over what's on our "collective calendars" in the US.... Allow this to be a reminder to shut off the screens and do something grounding to let those nerves wind down. Don't let what is displayed on the news or the outcomes of the day change who you are as a person or give you permission to treat people worse. Whether "your" candidate wins or loses, choose grace for yourself and for others. We need more love, patience and understanding - regardless of whoever calls themselves our leader. We can't blame all of our problems on who sits in the Whitehouse and I know very well the authority that position holds and what causes us to suffer....but I also know that suffering is a matter of perspective and it is in our human nature to try to overcome any problem thrown our way.

It's always easier to point the finger than to pick up the mirror.

But if you insist on pointing the finger, might I suggest instead you first consider picking up your hammer and nails. Do what you can to build what you want to see instead of expecting it to magically happen at someone else's hands.

By the time all is said and done in this disclosure process, our heroes and saviors will have come down from their pedestals. Either by stepping down, falling or being yanked down by the masses.

We do not know how that process will look. Or how long it will take. I trust that whatever happens is for the ultimate highest good of humanity. Period.

We can handle whatever comes. May our Hearts guide us today and every day.

I was JUST thinking of this yesterday when I was posting storm images. So many of the ones I have are purple and I thought, how freaking perfect is that?!

The Will of the People is a Force of Nature.

I just love y'all!!!

Part of why I've been silent here lately is because I've been engaged in very deep conversations with two people I love who happen to be liberal and more on the activist side. From everything you'd see on the news and the media, we should not be able to bridge the polarity of our views.

But we have and we are. Through our open hearts and compassion, we've found common ground. And that common ground is who we are, why we are here, and LOVE. Love that supercedes those polarized political differences. Because we are realizing that we do see the same problems. And we do want the same things. We are just looking at everything that's "supposed" to solve these issues from different lenses. Realizing that we are, infact, better off sticking together no matter what happens from here on. We are learning there is magic in...respect.

But I would never have been able to meet them in that space by calling them "lefties" "sheep" and "asleep" all these years. Without watching myself and how I treated those who saw different solutions than me. Without learning to hold my tongue when I had nothing helpful or productive to say. I knew years ago I wouldn't be able to bridge these gaps like I'm meant to if I led with my hate instead of my heart. I'm thankful I stayed true to myself in this regard.. and I'm so so thankful for everyone else who has done the same.

Interesting.... something that came through for me this morning, and it seemed unusual to be receiving this kind of advice: in any gathering of people, set out with the assumption that everyone that you speak to has at least one correct answer to one 'wrong' belief that you hold, and that you have at least one correct answer to a 'wrong' conviction that they hold.

It's very unusual for advice to come through for me in this way, and I wasn't really certain what to do with it, beyond holding it for myself, yet it would seem that perhaps this is something that is in the aether for us all to grapple with, and if so, then I take that as a wonderful kind of thought to be floating around - as it suggests to me that in the time to come, we shall be doing a lot of bridge-building with people who we would not have previously had these types of conversation with... and that thought fills me with a hopeful kind of elation regarding what may be about to pass!
