Apparently all you have to do to confuse centuries of history is change some names and letters, burn the libraries, scrolls and light-bearers (yes, people) and throw in a whole group of people who claim the noscript, but didn’t earn it - and you get the convoluted mess we have now.

Even the Bible itself calls out the false-Jews:
