I understand that most of the time it is so subtle that you would barely notice.

Something to be aware of in this regard is how your own mind is fast and extremely efficient at adapting to changes, and adopting them seamlessly into your reality.... "yes, this is right, this is how it's always been okay, carry on as normal"

As you grow in self awareness and step off autopilot, then you begin to notice. Some mornings you will awake, and perhaps without being able to put your finger on it, necessarily, everything will just feel/ seem (and perhaps even appear) different. What we see around us with our eyes, is different to what we 'see' with our mind. There is a mass jumble of floating particles, including ourselves, all intermingling.... and the left-brain 'orders' it all together into the format that we are familiar and comfortable with. So it can at times be more a case of noticing that the left brain and ego are having some kind of scramble fitting your new reality into what you would 'expect' to be experiencing.

Sometimes it can be more pronounced than that.

Basically we all experience timeline hopping, and always have. But a few things are changing; us, as our awareness and perception grows and changes we become more aware of these kinds of thing... and there is also something else happening on a grander scale, like we are at some kind of a nexus-point or convergence of the timelines - and as I understand it they are being sorted into essentially 2 branches.

So it's difficult to give a solid response to your question. We generally aren't meant to notice the jumps (at least as our 3D selves). We are designed to integrate any changes into our own individual reality. It's often a hindsight thing... as you indicate with your own experience. With hindsight I look back on my life and I can think of at least 3 situations where I had no 'right' even surviving. I don't want to go into detail, but I think that I likely did die in those realities all of those times, but my 'observer' part simply continued along in the most suitable continuation timeline.

So nowadays I do my best not to get too familiar with my surroundings... I view them with a sense of wonderment - like a child seeing things for the first time. Chances are that I am.

Perhaps understanding this will help people to look beyond their individual perceptions. The very act of perceiving means that the input you are getting has already gone through your individual filter. A filter built by you, based on your experiences here since birth. Shoot, probably since before birth.
