They say things change in the blink of an eye and if there's one thing that this past year has taught me, it's exactly that.

We can lose a loved one, or our own life at any given moment.

Any unknowable thing could happen to any person we might possibly care about.

We might upset someone if we rock the boat or tell the truth or pursue what's in our hearts.

There are countless uncontrollable worries that we can choose to be our excuses for not living the life of our dreams....

Or we can live it. We can look at each and every single thing that is preventing us from reaching the heights that we see.... And find a way around, over or through them.

We can refuse to wallow in victimhood and become determined to rise above anything in our way.

Rarely is something truly "impossible". It's like my sons say.... Maybe you just don't know how to do it "yet".

THAT is the miracle in our humanity.

We overcome. We outlast. We endure. Whatever it is we go through ... we figure it out.

..But if there truly is not a way to make what you want to have happen... Ask yourself if there's another way to frame the way you're looking at it? Maybe an outside of the box situation needs an outside of the box solution or a change of perspective.

At the end of the day, when that sun sets... We each have a seed of this warrior within us. It is where we find our ordeal...because that is where we find our Heroes Journey.... Because that is how we come to know our strength.

Whatever it was that you've faced in your life that made you feel like a burden, or unworthy, or incapable, or unwanted...... Know that the only person you really deserve to convince otherwise is yourself.

You are not a burden.
You are not unworthy.
You are not incapable.
You are wanted.
You deserve to be here.
Because you exist.

Not because of your parents. Or anyone who thinks you owe them your life.

You belong here because you ARE here.

That's it. That's all the permission you need to reach deep into your heart and to find the life that matches it.

You were born with every tool you need.

You can't change other people. You can't make anyone else do anything different.

But you can transform you. And you can become the person capable of everything you want to become. You only need permission from yourSelf.

And since things can change in the blink of an eye....
And since the only real time that exists is right NOW...
And since tomorrow is not guaranteed...
And kingdoms are built one brick at a time...
