My children will know their voices.
Because they are empowered to use them.
They will feel capable of setting boundaries.
Because they are allowed to and their personal boundaries will always be respected.
They will know their worth.
Because I make damn sure they are loved for who they are and not the fact that they are "my" kids or they are "good" kids.
They will know how to take accountability.
Because their father and I know how to.
They will know when to walk away....
Because they will always understand their value.
