Sometimes when we Heal, we want very much to show the world (and those who’ve hurt us) how well we are doing.
We want to prove that we’re ok.
And we think that by putting that on display, we win.

The question is…
Why are you even still on the board and playing the game?

They don’t give a fuck about you, except to see you in the one down position. Don’t give them the satisfaction of putting yourself on display bc that just gives them more material to work with.

Just do you.
Be you.
The real flex is being Happy,
for your own sake.
They don’t deserve one iota of that.

Btw - I did this. Not on purpose, I wasn’t trying to show or prove anything at all. But I put my newly Healed, Happy and Growing Self out there to try to help.
I did it magnanimously and truly from my Heart.

And, the person I did that for not only didn’t appreciate it, but she turned it around used it to try to hurt me. Twisted the very gift I gave her into a weapon to hurt me with…
To knock me down a few pegs.

And, it worked. I was cut DEEPLY. And honestly, I still haven’t recovered. I will, but it’s been very hard to reconcile.
But it taught me a valuable, valuable lesson and made our relationship CRYSTAL clear - and that has its own value.
I needed to see it.

Just please know that not everyone wants to see you Heal.
Or Succeed.
Or even be Happy.

Especially the ones who have a vested interest in you staying small.
Know that going in.
Know that you may be utterly shocked by who it is that doesn’t want to see you Grow.
And when you do see it, Believe it,
because they’ve just shown you the Truth of the situation.

And the Truth, shall set you Free.

If they could've changed and gotten better, they would've by now. One thing is for sure, feeding them support and empathy and compassion just makes them feel more in control.

So starve them. Pay them the bare minimum attention.

Why?

We've got a kingdom to build.

We've got a paradise that needs our attention.

It's not waiting for Jesus. He did his job.
It's not waiting for a healed world. That comes as a by product.

It's waiting for us.

We each have gone through what we've gone through so that we could generate purpose.

What is purpose?

Purpose comes into the fold when you take whatever hard fought lessons you've earned...and turn them into service.

For the old you. The younger you. The you that is still suffering and lost.

Let the pests starve and pay the discipline and focus required to build the life you have always dreamt of. Pave the road for those who are today, stuck in your past.

You've got this.

We've got this.
