🔥THIS IS MASSIVE: Trump just said the U.S. is considering a federal takeover of Washington, D.C. governance.

Washington, D.C. is not like other cities. It’s a federal district, not a state — and legally, it sits in a strange space. Since the Organic Act of 1871, D.C. has functioned as a kind of corporate entity, separate from the constitutional republic. It’s long been viewed as a sovereign zone — much like the City of London or the Vatican — operating under its own rules, serving as the capital not of the people’s America, but of the corporate-political machine.

If Trump were to revoke Home Rule, strip local control, or restructure D.C.’s legal standing, he could begin the process of reabsorbing D.C. into the constitutional United States — ending its special status.

That move would be both symbolic and structural:

• A direct challenge to the federal corporate system many argue was born in 1871
• A shot at the deep state’s capital, not just politically — but legally
• A signal that the republic is being restored
