If the recent events on the world stage have you upset, worried or just plain pissed off…
Ask yourself what you have personally invested in the outcome. As in, what part of your life have you put on hold as you ‘wait for things to play out’?
If you can answer that honestly for yourself, you’ll see EXACTLY why you’re upset.
And that’s a good thing, bc it will show you right where to take stock and take some action in your life. Those sore spots are the places where you’ve handed over your Sovereignty.
Take it back.
Today.
You’ll feel better.

What a Beautiful day to be Alive!
Something’s been moving quietly beneath the surface lately, not just for me, but for many. And it’s not some big, flashy breakthrough or a burst of inspiration. It’s something softer and slower.
It’s this mellow feeling. A kind of gentle calm that shows up after years of personal and collective upheaval. It’s not that everything’s fine now, the world is still heavy, uncertain, often chaotic. But I've realized that something inside has shifted. There’s a beautiful peace, not from everything being fixed, but from no longer needing to fix everything.
I've seen many people walk through their own inner fires over the past five years. Deep losses, ego deaths, burnout, the collapse of beliefs, identities, even entire worldviews. It hasn’t been easy to experience it myself and witness it in others. And yet, something else is quietly emerging in the wake of all that unraveling. Something more grounded, more spacious, and more real.
I decided to research this whole process and found that there’s actually a name for this kind of transformation in the esoteric tradition of alchemy. It’s not just about turning lead into gold, it’s about the soul’s journey of death, purification, and integration.
That process unfolds in three main stages: nigredo, albedo, and rubedo. And for me it explains this mellow feeling that I feel rising right now.
Nigredo - The Blackening
This is where it all starts, or more accurately, where everything falls apart. Nigredo is the phase of breakdown, of decomposition. Life stops making sense in the ways it used to. Old identities start to crumble, beliefs crack open, structures collapse. It can feel like depression, disorientation, grief, or just an overwhelming sense that something is ending, but you're not yet sure what’s beginning. It’s the dark night of the soul that no one schedules but everyone eventually encounters. And though it feels messy and painful, this stage is sacred. It burns away what’s false. It brings the unconscious to the surface. It strips things down to the bones. In the chaos, a deeper truth is preparing to emerge, but first, everything that isn't real has to go.
Albedo - The Whitening After the storm, there’s a kind of strange, gentle clarity that starts to rise. Not all at once, and not always in obvious ways. But there’s a feeling that something lighter is moving in. Albedo is the purification phase, a washing away of the soot left behind from Nigredo. It's where space opens up. There’s less noise. Less attachment. People in this stage often begin to feel a quiet kind of peace, even if their external circumstances haven’t radically changed. They’re seeing things differently. There’s a return to simplicity, more time in silence, more moments of awe, more acceptance of not knowing. It’s a very inward phase, where the soul regathers and reorients. Things become clearer, not because the mind figured it all out, but because the heart softened. This is where new light starts to touch the parts of you that have long been in shadow.
Rubedo - The Reddening
This is the stage where everything begins to come back together, not as it was before, but in a deeper, more integrated form. Rubedo isn’t about perfection or being “done” with healing. It’s about showing up to life as you are, fully present, fully embodied. It’s the return, not to your old self, but to your true self. There’s a sense of wholeness, not because nothing hurts anymore, but because you’ve made peace with the hurt. You’re no longer trying to escape the messiness of life, you’re walking with it, with grace. In this phase, action becomes aligned. Words come from a deeper place. You care more than ever, but you no longer carry the world on your back. There’s compassion without codependence, purpose without pressure. This is where the fire becomes light. Where presence becomes power. And where the soul finally gets to move freely in the body, no longer striving, just being. (I LOVE this part)

And that mellow feeling that’s showing up for so many people right now? That’s rubedo. That’s the soul finally settling after a long, intense journey. Not because everything’s resolved, but because something deeper has been remembered.
There’s no longer a need to chase meaning, or fix everyone’s problems, or rush to be someone else. There’s just this: breath, presence, awareness, and a willingness to be here, as we are.
If this resonates, consider sitting with some gentler questions:
Who am I now that I’m not who I used to be?
What if peace is not the absence of struggle, but the absence of resistance?
What does it feel like to love without needing to control?
Can I let life be enough, even if it’s imperfect? Can I trust this calm, even if it’s unfamiliar?
We’re not meant to live in the fire forever. But we are meant to be shaped by it, and then step out, softer, clearer, wiser.
If you’re in that space now, if you’re feeling mellow, unhurried, strangely okay in a world that still seems chaotic, maybe it’s not that you’re disconnected. Maybe it’s that you’ve just come home to yourself.
With so much love,
Jane

🚨BIG WEEK NEXT WEEK FOR CRYPTO.
The U.S. House of Representatives is set to vote on a market structure bill, a stablecoin bill and a bill banning a U.S. central bank digital currency next week. Perhaps it's premature to suggest the industry will notch a major win - but all signs indicate that U.S. President Donald Trump will sign a stablecoin bill into law before the August recess, as his team has sought since February.
