My ears are ringing like crazy. Very loud this morning.
For reference, I’ve had ringing ears for my entire life. A few years ago I started to wonder if I was actually hearing something. Now I’m sure of it. The pitch and intensity changed around 21 December 2020 which, as I’m sure you know, was significant for many reasons. Not the least of which was that Jupiter and Saturn were in conjunction to form the Christmas star.
It’s high time we started paying attention to the signs above again. After all, the Magi were astrologers! The signs they saw in the sky are what led them to be (seemingly) the only ones who know that a King had been born in Bethlehem.
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years

I love this verse. It’s a big, giant cluebird that our world is made up of more than what we can see. And how many times have you come across it and thought it just meant that you couldn’t see God, so you took it as a metaphor? Or you thought it was referring to atoms or particles? I see it differently now. Like so many other verses, it’s straight up telling you something. Truth hidden in plain sight.
Our human selves can only perceive a fraction of what actually exists. This is why living by faith has always been paramount. We live in a sea of the unseen. So we must learn to feel and not to live by “sight”.
