GM! Schumann looks pretty quiet for now. Current as of 0600 hrs PDT / 0900 EDT / 1300 UTC. (And since our President is in England right now, London time is 1400 😉)

Ok - I’m only going to do this once so if you need this, please save it somewhere.

Military time is on a 24 hour clock. The day starts at midnight at 0000 and the first 12 hours of the day are “normal” time. 0800 is 8:00 am, etc. Noon is 1200.

After noon/1200, the hours tick by into the range that I know some people still have trouble with. It’s super easy to decipher though and I KNOW some of y’all need this. Ok?

To convert the times in your mind, from 1300 onward, you simply subtract 12 hours from the time. So 13-12 =1. 1300 is 1:00 pm.

1800 - 1200 =600
Or just 18-12=6
1800 is 6:00 pm. See?
Easy.

No more skipping over military time bc you don’t understand it. Eventually you won’t need to convert it at all, you’ll just know.

If you switch the display on your phone to the 24-hour clock it might help you to learn it faster. 🫶
