Military time is on a 24 hour clock. The day starts at midnight at 0000 and the first 12 hours of the day are “normal” time. 0800 is 8:00 am, etc. Noon is 1200.
After noon/1200, the hours tick by into the range that I know some people still have trouble with. It’s super easy to decipher though and I KNOW some of y’all need this. Ok?
To convert the times in your mind, from 1300 onward, you simply subtract 12 hours from the time. So 13-12 =1. 1300 is 1:00 pm.
1800 - 1200 =600
Or just 18-12=6
1800 is 6:00 pm. See?
Easy.
No more skipping over military time bc you don’t understand it. Eventually you won’t need to convert it at all, you’ll just know.
If you switch the display on your phone to the 24-hour clock it might help you to learn it faster. 🫶

If you've ever had to make the difficult choice of distancing yourself from someone you love because they refuse to help themselves, refuse to grow and refuse to heal... I see you.
It's like seeing someone drowning and diving into the water to save them while they punch and kick you, determined to drown even if it means taking you down with them.
Eventually, you realize that's exactly what will happen if you stay.
So you swim to shore. With an ache in your heart and guilt in your mind. It requires radical self love to do that. Never apologize for doing what you had to in order to survive.
At the end of the day we all make our own choices. Give yourself grace. You're allowed to enjoy your life.
