We must face and accept what actually IS with respect to our relationships and constructs now.
We’ve asked for the eyes to see, and many now have them. What we do with that insight and Knowledge is crucial.
It’s time to start dealing with Truth as it pertains to the things that we tend to fight in our realities.
For instance…someone disrespects you and shows you EXACTLY how they regard you…and it’s not pretty. You feel yourself start to get angry.
Why? What does anger mean?
Well, it simply means you want something to change. You can’t tolerate whatever is happening and so your body complex rises up to say, “No. No-fucking-thank you.”
And the next question is…Can you actually change it? Is it something you have control over?
Or not?
And if you don’t…then what do you do? Rail against it and demand that the person treat you better? Do you become incensed and think, “How can they treat me this way? It’s not right!”
ORRRRR…
Do you simply accept that they HAVE treated you this way and plan your future moves accordingly?
Perhaps you decide it’s worth a conversation. Perhaps you realize that no amount of conversing is going to help.
Perhaps you simply remove yourself from the equation.
No two situations are the same and I’m not trying to tell anyone how to handle their own. I’m simply saying that it’s time to ACCEPT WHAT IS instead of attempting to make it out to be what you wish it was.
You see, when you let your Anger dictate what you do and you simply use it try to force what you want from another, you’re actually overriding their Free Will. Or at least you’re attempting to.
Now, I’m not saying that anger is bad. It isn’t! But because it’s such an intense emotion, we have to learn to use it responsibly.
The irony is that it usually rises up because your own Free Will is being steamrolled. But, if you then use it to do the same thing right back…you’re not helping anything. And that’s why arguments and disagreements and fights spiral out of control. They become a battle of egos.
We’re often trying to change what has ALREADY happened.
The disrespect is really all you needed to know. That was the message. And if you can simply accept what’s been done, you can choose wisely on what’s next.
And please know that “accepting” it doesn’t mean condoning it. It doesn’t mean agreeing with it. It simply means that you see and acknowledge that it’s already been done instead of wasting effort insisting that it should never have happened.
You’re probably right…It should never have happened. You wish it hadn’t. BUT IT DID. And now you have a choice to make. Which is always an opportunity to do better than the last time you found yourself in the same spot.
Deal in the reality of what IS and you’ll see that that’s really all the information you need.
What’s done is done. You can’t change it no matter how much you want to, or how much it hurts. Let it be what it is and decide what to do going forward, because you sure as shit can’t undo it backwards.
