This is an EXCELLENT explanation of MTHFR gene function and associated issues. It explains the folate vs folic acid distinction really well and gives useful advice on how to manage an MTHFR problem.

Many, if not most, ppl are struggling with this and they don’t even know.

Key takeaway, and one we’ve discussed at length here, is that NO ONE should be ingesting folic acid.

And yet, it’s all over our food, in supplements and even still recommended as a needed substance during pregnancy.

Complete bollocks!!! It’s bad. And if you have the MTHFR gene mutation, for you… it’s literal poison.

I’ve learned this the hard way over the years and I’m glad to see it coming out much more publicly now.
