I was taught at a young age that my feelings were dangerous. Because if I showed them, they would upset my mother. If you don't understand why that's a big deal, you've never seen her upset. Her eyes would fill with disgust, her body language would turn to ice and the silent treatment could last days or weeks depending on how quickly you learned to adapt.
Even saying that creates a war in my nervous system because my nervous system was wired to protect her in a means to protect myself.
I picked up habits like self-abandonment and fawning. Habits I wouldn't see for years. Habits that told me to keep quiet, to maintain the peace, to sacrifice my feelings for the sake of everyone else's.
This was a survival mechanism that I didn't realize existed. I just kept finding myself in pickles time and again where the people around me seemed happy, but I felt unhappy, unsatisfied or unseen and I'd have to back track to figure out where I'd stop considering myself. Again.
It wasn't until my husband told me that "you're allowed to feel your own feelings" years ago, that I began to heal this wound.
The subtle permission he invited me to give to myself in that moment was profound for me. Because for my entire life, it wasn't until then that I realized I WAS allowed to freaking feel my own damn feelings 🤯🤯. What a concept.
So if you relate to this, please hear me loud and clear here. Whatever feelings you have - be it anger, sadness, loneliness, joy - you are ALLOWED to feel that feeling.
You don't have to act on it.
You don't have to DO anything with it.
But no one can ever take away your right to feel it.
Sometimes, the act of allowing yourself to genuinely feel your feelings, authentically without excusing them away or justifying, minimizing, projecting etc..... the act of just feeling upset can be healing in itself.
Because it's when you allow yourself honesty with your own feelings about the things you go through in life, that's when you hear the message. That is the tipping scale for your body, your nervous system, your heart to tell you "yes, you're on the right track, keep going" or "no, something is off here. You deserve better".
Feelings are not meant to stay or to be held inside and ignored. They are meant to impart information. Wisdom. And then be on their way while you implement whatever changes are needed.
Feel your feelings. And take note of anyone who tells you that you can't, that they're invalid or makes you feel like they're irrelevant or unimportant.

#astrology Many of us are feeling that events are moving very quickly now. They will begin to move even faster from February 17th, as not only do we have the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius squared by Uranus that day, but it is the start of the Year of the Fire Horse.
Eclipses are known to operate very fast, like wild cards. Uranus is always linked with rapid speed (and it is the ruler of this Eclipse in Aquarius), and the Year of the Fire Horse speaks for itself - we are entering a year of acceleration.
What this means is that if foundations are shaky, deceptive, or corrupt, they are likely to collapse very rapidly. If your foundations are strong, truthful and authentic, based on love, peace, compassion for all living beings, and wanting to build a better world for all, then you will find many connections, opportunities and synchronicities happening very rapidly for you. So be aware of where you are putting your focus - on the old collapsing world, or on building a more loving one?
Just keep holding love in your heart. So many of us have an even stronger resolve in the face of corruption coming to light that we want to live in a world which has abundance for all, respect for all sentient beings, and the end of war, poverty and crime. The more of us that come together energetically (in meditations and in our daily choices) to build that better world, the faster it manifests.
This is a '1' year in numerology. The Solar Eclipse is a big New Moon, new beginning. Three days later on February 20th we have the Saturn-Neptune conjunction for the first time in over 6,000 years at 0° Aries, the very first degree of the zodiac. This is giving us more of a blank canvas than we have ever known before. Then we have the Aries Equinox on March 20th, with the beginning of a massive pile-up of planets in Aries.
This is the sign of initiation, ignition, rebirth and new creations.
So do we want to keep perpetuating the old world of corruption, power and greed, or do we want to take this opportunity of many lifetimes (I would argue) to quantum jump to a very different way of being? Each of us needs to make that choice.
Remember - Starve out the scary and love in the good!

- she highlights a British House of Lords recent session that just quietly occurred, where Lord Lancaster discussed the NSS, noting Congress's recent National Defense Authorization Act added £8 billion to European defense and maintained 76,000 U.S. troops in Europe, suggesting a strategy to OUTLAST President Trump.
- Kokinda believes Trump's meetings with Zelensky and Netanyahu were strategic, not sellouts, aligning with the NSS's goals of ending perpetual wars and repositioning U.S. relationships in the Middle East and Ukraine.
