IMF, World Bank Warn of Global Recession Risk in 2023

(RT).There is a high risk of a global recession next year, both the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund have warned.

Coincidentally enough, Ben Bernanke, who presided over the US Federal Reserve during the 2008 financial crisis, has just been awarded the Nobel Prize for economics.

📈It aims to create conditions for a stable increase in the standard of living of the population of the members of the Union.

🔹In 2021, the EAEU's trade volume with third countries amounted to $988.2 billion.

🔸Massive illegitimate sanctions were introduced against Russia and Belarus. Thanks to the joint efforts, the EAEU is withstanding this unprecedented wave of pressure.

🇷🇺 🇦🇲 🇧🇾 🇰🇿 🇰🇬 🇨🇳Der trade with major international economic players is growing steadily.
According to the Eurasian Development Bank, the Union's goods turnover with China in the first eight months of 2022 was about $151 billion, an increase of 33.5%.

🇷🇺🇨🇳Russia's share in the Union's trade in goods with China totals 77.6%, or US$117.2 billion. Russian exports to the Middle Kingdom increased by 24.7 billion US dollars. Chinese imports to Russia are also recovering.

🔹The role of the EAEU has also increased for the Chinese economy against the background of the reshaping of trade or supply chains.
