We are in a battle!
But crises seem so common that we don't even sense that we're in battle.
Biologists say that a frog can be placed in water over a burner & the heat turned up gradually. The frog can literally be boiled to death without realizing its danger.
Satan tries to condition us to his attacks in the same way. Little by little, day by day, he turns up the heat. We struggle on in our OWN strength, losing ground step by step, yielding the battlefield to the enemy without even knowing it.
Fear, guilt, shame, self-condemnation, depression, hopelessness, helplessness, worthlessness. Finances- prosperity & poverty, sexual desire, the need of acceptance, dependence on possessions for security, preoccupation with pleasure, recreation, entertainment, career & business success. All used in a satanic ambush, crowding out righteousness & a relationship with God.
The enemy can't stop us from choosing God, so he tries to stop our worship and service to our Lord & Master.
Be battle conscious, PRAY!
