TORONTO—Moderna says upcoming clinical trials for its COVID-19 vaccine will include Canadian children.

The company announced details of its Phase 2/3 study of COVID-19 earlier this week. It’s expected to involve 6,750 healthy pediatric participants aged six months to 12 years.

Moderna says initial participants are based in the United States but that Canadian sites will be added as the trial progresses.

The biotech company says it hasn’t yet chosen the Canadian sites, nor Canadian participants.

The trial will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of two doses given 28 days apart.

Participants will be followed for one year after the second vaccination.

In addition to Moderna, Canada has approved vaccines by Pfizer-BioNTech and Oxford-AstraZeneca for adult use, although the Pfizer product can be used by people as young as 16.

Dr. Caroline Quach of the National Advisory Committee on Immunization said Tuesday that she expected to see trial data from Pfizer involving 12-to-15-year-olds in two-to-three months.

President John Magufuli of Tanzania went missing a few days ago and now the fake news main stream media is saying he died from covid-19. He was the only world leader who fully exposed the entire pandemic.

His security team advised him early last year to check the quality of the PCR tests. They sent in tests to a lab from a goat, a bird, a durian, and a papaya. The tests had real names and all came back positive. He then stopped all testing March 2019 and exposed this to the world in a speech. He then opened up Tanzania for travel without PCR tests or quarantine measures. He went against the vaccine agenda and didn't have plans on poisoning his citizens. He was also very against wearing masks and told people in Tanzania not to wear them.

🇲🇽: A 75-year-old woman in Hidalgo, Mexico, died minutes after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, but health authorities said they did not find a link between her death and the shot administered. 💉

Shortly after receiving a dose of the vaccine made by Chinese company Sinovac at a vaccination center in Metepec last Thursday, the woman started feeling weak and fainted when she got up to go to the washroom. She was rushed to the IMSS clinic in Metepec shortly after fainting but was declared dead on arrival.

Several newspapers in Mexico, including Milenio and Sin Embargo, reported at the time that she died 15 minutes after getting vaccinated. The federal Health Ministry, however, indicated that the 75-year-old passed away 40 minutes after inoculation, according to the latest reports.
